Meet Ben Massouras

I’m Ben Massouras, the owner behind Theatre Kid.

I grew up a proud theatre kid: acting, singing, and dancing since I was six years old. The stage gave me community, creativity, and a place to belong. But I also know the word “Theatre Kid” hasn’t always been said with love, but used as a punchline, a stereotype, or something to outgrow.

That’s why I started Theatre Kid: to destigmatize the label and celebrate all the amazing gifts Theatre Kids possess. This brand is for all of us whether you’re still performing, left the stage years ago, or you just carry that love of theatre in your bones. We celebrate what being a theatre kid has given us: resilience, confidence, collaboration, and the joy of storytelling.

Outside of Theatre Kid, I’m an actor, singer, dancer, and digital marketer based in Phoenix, Arizona. I hold a Master’s in Digital Marketing Communications from West Virginia University and have worked in the arts and nonprofit world.

When I’m not building brands or performing, you can usually find me traveling, practicing yoga, going to spin classes, hunting down the best local bites, or spending time with family and friends!

For me, Theatre Kid isn’t just merch. It’s a way to celebrate a little bit of the magic we’ve had the gift of experiencing and to carry it with us wherever life takes us.
